Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 6, 2026
Crime.Report is operated by US Support LLC, a Nevada news syndicate, which also operates Arre.st and Suspects.app. This policy describes what Crime.Report actually collects about visitors. In short: very little.
What we don’t collect
- No accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, and nothing to fill in.
- No cookies. The Site sets none, and doesn’t use your browser’s local storage either.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking. No tracking pixels, ad networks, social-media buttons, or third-party scripts or fonts.
- No selling or sharing. We don’t sell, rent or trade information about visitors, and don’t share it for advertising.
What our server logs
Like nearly every web server, ours writes a line for each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page or file asked for, the response, the referring page, and your browser’s user-agent. Server errors are logged too. We use these logs only to run and secure the Site: fixing faults, spotting abuse and overload, and blocking it. We don’t use them to profile visitors. Logs are kept only as long as they’re needed for those purposes, then deleted.
Images, widgets and links
- Images: booking photos on Captured pages are loaded from Arre.st (new.arre.st), so your browser also contacts that site. Its privacy policy applies to that request.
- Widgets on other sites: if you visit a site that embeds one of our widgets, your browser requests the widget from us, and our log records it as above, including the page it was embedded on. Widgets contain no scripts and set no cookies. The site you are visiting has its own privacy policy.
- API: API requests are logged the same way. No key or registration is needed.
- Links: links to Arre.st, Suspects.app, agency websites and news sources take you to sites with their own policies.
When we disclose information
We disclose log records only when the law requires it (for example, a valid subpoena or court order), or when needed to protect the Site or others from abuse or a credible threat.
People in the records
This policy covers people who visit Crime.Report. The Site’s data comes from public records. Most of it is aggregate counts, which identify no one. Captured pages show the names, photos and details of individual people as published by the jails and agencies concerned, through Arre.st and Suspects.app. To correct or dispute a record or a match, see Corrections and removal in our Terms.
Children
The Site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices and rights
Because we hold no accounts and set no cookies, there is no profile of you to view, download or delete. If you have a question about server logs that may relate to you, or want to exercise a privacy right under the law of your state, contact us and we will respond as the law requires.
Changes
If what the Site collects changes, we will update this page first. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
